Wet cough
Take one cup water and add a teaspoon of honey, few carom seeds (ajwain), one cinnamon (daar cheeni) and ginger. Boil the ingredients until one fourth portion is left. Drink the mixture regularly and you will be relieved from the cough.
Swollen feet during pregnancy
Feet swelling is common during pregnancy. To reduce it boil 1-2 glass of water containing half tablespoon molasses (gur) and one tablespoon fennel seeds (saunf). Boil it down to half. Drink 2-3 times a day to reduce feet swelling.
Scars
Applying lemon juice on the effected area or rubbing lemon over the skin by cutting it into two half can be effective as the citric nature of lemon helps in cleaning of the skin and removing any kind of scar.
Homemade hair packs for dandruff
To get rid of dandruff, take moong dal powder and mix a cup of curd in it. Apply all over scalp and hair and wash after half an hour. This is a useful hair pack for dandruff relief.
Reducing cholesterol
People having complaints of high cholesterol should eat green leafy salad that has some amount of olive oil added to it. Olive oil has proven to be good for heart and proper functioning of the body system.
Diaper rash
Mix oatmeal to warm water before giving your baby a bath. This will prevent diaper rash and keep the skin germ free.
